Here is our official sick policy:ġ-Students should be FEVER FREE for at least 24 hours before attending school.Ģ-If antibiotics are needed, students should be on them for AT LEAST 24 hours before returning to school.ģ-Students may NOT attend school if they have drainage or pus from ears or eyes.Ĥ-Students must be diarrhea and vomit FREE for at least 24 hours before attending school.ĥ-Students may NOT attend school with any undiagnosed or contagious conditions, rashes, or sores. If children are sick, they should not attend school. Preschool clothes should be washed and returned the next preschool day. If this is the case, clean, dry clothing will be provided to the child and the soiled clothing willīe returned in a plastic bag. Occasionally, there may be paint or potty accidents. We require that whoever picks up your child sign out on a log each day. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE ENTRANCES TO NEIGHBORING DRIVEWAYS SO THAT NEIGHBORS CAN COME AND GO AS THEY NEED TO. Children wlll be dismissed in an orderly fashion to the waiting cars. Please use extreme caution in watching for children as you proceed out of the neighborhood. All children not picked up within ten minutes of class ending will be charged a $10 late fee.

Only people who have been listed on your child’s registration form will be permitted to take the child from school, unless I am otherwise advised directly from the parent. Pickups must be made within ten minutes of the end of the class time. Students may be dropped off as early as five minutes before class starts. I cannot take responsibility for students until they are safely INSIDE of the classroom.
PARENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING SURE THEIR STUDENTS MAKE IT INTO THE CLASSROOM SAFELY. Likewise, students are encouraged to progress at their own speed and may be given different learning objectives if they are ready to move on. Students are never pressured to perform or made to feel like a failure if they fall short of others. Learning is tailored to age, maturity level, and attention span. We work at these skills through weekly themed units that focus on learning about nature, our world, cultures, character education, science, music, holidays and much more. Learning are also part of our curriculum through art, experiments, and process-based activities.
